GEOIP block is not working | 您所在的位置:网站首页 › pppoe wan6 › GEOIP block is not working |
Hello, I am using OpenWRT (LuCI openwrt-18.06-k5.4 branch (git-22.055.76797-1da3707) on NanoPi R2S. My device is using a Public IP. I have installed Adguard Home to filter all tracking and advertisements. I notice that, there are some weird IPs showing in the Device List. Seems some foreign IP's are trying to use my device as a proxy or something. I am not sure. I am using a very long password with numbers and special characters. All major ports, including port 80 is closed (except port 53). So I checked this forum, and some people suggested installing the "iptables-mod-geoip" and I have done that. Also in Firewall custom rules, I have added this line (it will only allow BD Ips, and all other ips should be blocked) iptables -A INPUT -m geoip ! --src-cc BD -j DROP iptables -A INPUT -m geoip -p tcp –dport 25 ! –src-cc BD -j DROP iptables -A FORWARD -m geoip --src-cc BD -j DROP But I can see still some new IP is showing in Adguard Home. Also, I can ping the device from a foreign country. Seems like I am missing something in this. If anybody can help or advice would be great. |
