Great 55-300mm Zoom Lens for Sony Alpha Mount Cameras like the Alpha 57. This Sony SAL55300 55-300mm lens is just a great piece of equipment for an Alpha Mount camera by Sony. I have a Sony Alpha 57 Digital Single-Lens Translucent (DSLT) Camera. (DSLT is a Sony DSLR type of camera.) This SAL55300 is an interchangeable lens for the a57 and like alpha mount camera. It goes on and off my a57 without any problems. The Auto-Focus (AF) works fast and in general all a57 features work without any problems whatsoever. It takes sharp pictures at all ranges. It comes with a lens hood that can be stored inverted on the lens as well as with a front cap and a rear body cap. It takes 62mm filters, and I have put a UV filter on mine to further protect the lens. Overall, I am very happy with Sony's SAL55300 lens.
