《城南旧事》电影改编自同名自传体小说《城南旧事》，由吴贻弓导演于1982年执导拍摄。吴贻弓导演在把握原著的基础上，按照电影的表现方式进行了再创作，通过对于镜头的运用，音乐、场景的调动，以及对于原著主题的深挖，让《城南旧事》产生了诗化的风格以及深刻的主题意蕴，获得了国内外一致的认可，成为了中国电影史上的经典之作。

The film " My Memories of Old Beijing " was adapted from the autobiographical novel "Old Things in the South", directed by Wu Yigong in 1982. Based on the mastery of the original work, Director Wu Yigong re-created in accordance with the way the film is expressed. Through the use of shots, the mobilization of music and scenes, and the in-depth exploration of the original theme, "The Old Things in the South" has a poetic style. As well as the profound theme implication, it has won unanimous recognition at home and abroad, and has become a classic in the history of Chinese film.
