Wilma and Anneena had a race.

The go-karts raced down the hill.

Anneena was in front.

Suddenly, a dog ran in front of Anneena.

Her go-kart crashed into a bush.

Wilma crashed into Anneena.

Chip looked at the broken go-karts.

Wilma's front wheels were bent.

But the back part was still good.

And Anneena's back wheels were broken.

But the front ones were ok.

Chip looked and thought.

He had an idea.

他有一个主意。

He told Mum what the idea was.

他把他的想法告诉了妈妈。

"What a brilliant idea!" said Mum.

妈妈说：多棒的主意！

The mums and dads made a new go-kart.

They made one go-kart out of two.

They put the front of Anneena's go-kart on the back of Wilma's.

The children liked the new go-kart.

They painted it white and blue.

They called it Silver Bullet.

他们叫它银色子弹。

"What about the race?" asked Biff.

"I bet Silver Bullet will win."

我打赌银色子弹会赢的。

Chip give it a thumb-up.

"Brilliant!" said the children.

"Look at all the go-karts!" said Biff.

Biff 说：看看那些卡丁车！

There were all kinds of go-karts.

There were many people watching the race.

Mums and Dads came too.

Come on, Kids!

Biff wanted to drive, but so did Wilma and Anneena.

Biff 想要驾驶，但 Wilma 和 Anneena 都想要驾驶。

在这里，我们补充一个小知识点：

so do I 是 “我也是” 的意思

So did I ，did 表示过去式

so did Wilma and Anneena，Wilma 和 Anneena 也一样

和 me too 的意思差不多，都是 “我也是”的意思，

但用法还是不同的。举些例子吧：

1.---I'm 7 years old.（这个句子的谓语是am）

---Me too. (So am I)(所以这里是am不是do)

2.---I usually walk to school.(这个句子的谓语是walk)

---Me too.(So do i)

Me too 表示的是 和别人一样的意思，通常不含有动作的意味在里面。

比如说：两个人去水吧，

A说 “I would like a cup of coffee” B说 "Me too" 表示和A一样的.

So do I 一般表示，一个人说他做了什么，另外一个 表示自己也做了同样的动作 的时候就用 So do I. So do I 的使用范围要比 Me too 小。

如果别人说 “I like apple” 那么我建议你说 Me too.

Ok 回到绘本，孩子们都想要驾驶这辆非常 cool 的 silver bullet，

那究竟给谁驾驶呢？还是投币决定吧！

投币决定，我们叫做：toss a coin，head or tail.

我们用 head 头，表示正面，用 tail 尾巴，表示反面。

In the end, Mum tossed a coin and Anneena won.

最后，妈妈掷硬币决定，Anneena 获胜。

cheer 就是 “欢呼” 的意思

这个词用的很广，我们吃饭的时候也会说 cheers 干杯！

还有拍照的时候 cheers，就是 茄子（微笑）！

Anneena went fast.

Anneena 开的很快。

Silver Bullet was in front.

银色子弹跑在了最前头。
