Mirabea Lou Nebulis VIII (ミラベア・ルゥ・ネビュリス8世, Mirabea Ruu Nebyurisu 8-sei) is the current Queen of the Nebulis Sovereignty and the mother of Aliceliese, Sisbell, and Elletear.

Mirabea is a beautiful woman with a close resemblance to Aliceliese. She has a long blonde hair, red-colored eyes, and carries with her a somber expression. She wears a white robe with golden trims, red tassels hanging from the tips of the outfit, and golden shoes. The top of her robe is fastened with a white belt that also has golden trims.

In the manga, however, Mirabea wears a crown and a more Victorian-type of dress, which alternates between black and white patterns.

Mirabea is a cold, almost stoic woman. Even though she doesn't show her emotions very often, the great amount of hatred she possesses towards the Empire is evident. However, compared to the Zoa family, she is rather moderate and doesn't call for all-out war due to amount of lives they could lose on their side. To her, everyone in the Empire is the same, whether they're part of the military or not. This is shown particularly when she reminded Alice of how the Empire mercilessly hunted down and oppressed Astral Mages in the past, and that the Imperial artists she admired weren't any different.

She is also the mother of three daughters, but prioritizes being a queen first, which is why she acts cold towards them. Despite not displaying any maternal traits, she still cares very much for her daughters. In an inner monologue, she apologizes to both Elletear and Sisbell for wanting Alice to become queen over them, that despite recognizing them as "fine ladies", they were ultimately not fit for the role. The queen needed to be someone powerful, strong enough to protect herself from the assassins from the Empire, and only Alice met that requirement.[3]

Ironically, this is what led to her eldest daughter betraying the family, as Mirabea neglected Elletear as a child for having a weak astral power or wasn't aware of the mockery Elleatear endured.

Atmosphere: A subtype of wind astral power that allows her to manipulate the atmosphere. She doesn't control the wind, which is the movement of air, but air itself.
